Since June 2013, President of the Management Board of the Polish Chamber of Chemical Industry – the leading organization representing the Polish chemical industry on both national and international forums. As of February 2024, a member of the Supervisory Board of ORLEN S.A.
An expert in the chemical sector with over 23 years of experience in top managerial, executive, advisory, and academic positions. He has built his professional career in organizations such as ORLEN S.A., Anwil S.A., Chemeko Sp. z o.o., Grupa Azoty Zakłady Chemiczne "Police" S.A., Orlen Unipetrol a.s., DGA S.A., AKJ Capital S.A., the Institute of Energy Studies sp. z o.o., the Warsaw University of Technology, and the Professor I. Mościcki Industrial Chemistry Research Institute in Warsaw.
For many years, he has represented the interests of the domestic chemical industry both in Poland and abroad. He is a member of the National Association Board (NAB) at the European Chemical Industry Council (CEFIC) in Brussels, where he represents the interests of seven countries in the Central Europe Cluster.
He is also a member of the Presidium of the Chemistry Committee at the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Presidium of the Council and the Climate and Energy Policy Committee at the National Chamber of Commerce, and the Coordination Council for Hydrogen Economy under the Minister of Climate and Environment.
He holds a doctorate in technical sciences from the Professor I. Mościcki Industrial Chemistry Research Institute in Warsaw. He earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in collaboration with Lublin University of Technology. Additionally, he has completed programs such as the Professional Development Program – Strategic Business Management at Harvard University Extension School and Strategies for Sustainability at the Stanford Center for Professional Development at Stanford University.
