Michał Gajewski

Michał Gajewski, attorney-at-law, is a graduate of the Law Department at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He also studied at the Northwestern University in Chicago and London Business School. Since 1992, he has been professionally active in the banking sector. In the years 1992-2008, he worked with WBK Group and with Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. He started from a branch role, progressing to various middle and senior management capacities, and finally reached the position of the Management Board member responsible for Retail Banking.

In the years 2008-2011, he acted as Vice-President of the Management Board of BGŻ Bank, where he was in charge of the Retail Business and SME Banking and the Corporate Customers Division. In 2012, he started work at Bank Millennium S.A. where he served as the Macroregional Director in the Retail Banking Division in the years 2012-2015, and then in 2015 was appointed Management Board Member responsible for Retail Business.

In 2016, he was appointed a President of the Management Board of Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. (now: Santander Bank Polska S.A.).
