Prof. Marta Postuła, PhD, habilitated doctor, has been an advisor to the Management Board for Sustainable Development at the Brokerage House of the Bank Ochrony Środowiska since 2022. Previously, she served for six years as the Director of the Department of Cooperation with Issuers at the same institution.
She has several years of experience in the public sector. From 1999 to 2016, she worked at the Ministry of Finance, where she led departments responsible for, among other things, creating strategic documents, coordinating actions related to the development of the Public Finance Act, implementing socio-economic policies of the government, and evaluating the effectiveness of public spending in the public sector.
She has served on supervisory boards, including at BGK, PL2012, Intercity, and SKM. Since 2020, she has been the head of the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. Between 2016 and 2023, she served as the Director of the UW Entrepreneurship Center. At BGK, she oversees the area of government and European markets and programs.
Since 2020, she has been a full professor of social sciences, a title awarded by the President of the Republic of Poland. She holds a habilitation in economic sciences in the discipline of finance, as well as a PhD in economic sciences from the Warsaw School of Economics.
She is the author of numerous books and articles in the field of finance, particularly in the areas of public finance and investment finance.
