Prof. Marta Postuła, PhD, since 2022 has been a sustainable development advisor to the Management Board at the Brokerage House of the Bank Ochrony Środowiska. Previously, in the same institution, she served as the Director of the Department of Cooperation with Issuers for six years.
She has over a decade of experience working in the public sector. From 1999 to 2016, she worked at the Ministry of Finance, where she led departments responsible for, among other things: creating strategic documents and coordinating activities related to the development of the Public Finance Act, implementing socio-economic government policies, and assessing the efficiency of public spending in the public sector.
She has served on supervisory boards, including BGK, PL2012, Intercity, and SKM. Since 2020, she has been the Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw. From 2016 to 2023, she was the Director of the Entrepreneurship Center at the University of Warsaw. At BGK, she supervises the areas of markets and government and European programs.
Since 2020, she has been a full professor in social sciences, a title awarded to her by the President of the Republic of Poland. She holds a habilitation in economics in the discipline of finance, as well as a PhD in economics from the Warsaw School of Economics.
She is the author of numerous books and articles in the field of finance, particularly in public finance and investment finance.
